House of Mode is the result of a 13 year old teenager battling with puberty and not realizing all that comes with it and her inability to smell herself. But one day, one of our neighbors had called me to her apartment and asked me if I realized I had a bad body odor which I didn’t. Instead of embarrassing me, she went ahead to teach me the proper way to shower and got me my very first deodorant. And some twenty something years later; I have never not loved to smell good. My obsession with good smells gave birth to wanting to create affordable luxurious scents that would soon become a household name.

House of Moedei is a combination of different scents for males and females; with a hint of the African tradition in the naming convention and the idea behind the product; it speaks to family and generational legacies that are hoped to span generations to come. Each name with an intention, each scent with you in mind, each bottle to embrace. “House of Moedei” intends to bring in the African touch with a deep dive into luxury to show that you can be proud of our heritage, our name and still be globally wanted. The dream is to become a household name.
